1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Particle Path Assurance's radiation effects testing services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

Particle Path Assurance provides radiation effects testing services for space industry components and systems. Our services include:

  • Proton radiation testing
  • Neutron radiation testing
  • Gamma radiation testing
  • Combined radiation environment testing
  • Test planning and analysis consulting
  • Secure storage and handling services

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.1 Reservation Process

All testing services must be booked through our online booking system. Reservations are subject to availability and facility scheduling constraints.

3.2 Minimum Booking Requirements

  • Minimum 4-hour testing sessions
  • Advance booking recommended (minimum 48 hours)
  • Complete test specifications required before testing begins

3.3 Scheduling Priority

Multi-day bookings and exclusive beam access reservations receive priority scheduling. Single-day bookings may be subject to rescheduling based on facility demands.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Schedule

  • 50% deposit required upon booking confirmation
  • Remaining balance due 48 hours before testing begins
  • Payment methods: Credit card, wire transfer, or approved purchase orders

4.2 Pricing

All pricing is subject to change without notice. Current rates are available on our pricing page. Premium rates apply for:

  • Exclusive beam access (+100%)
  • Night shift testing (+15%)
  • Weekend testing (+20%)
  • 24/7 testing (+30%)

4.3 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Extended storage beyond 3 days pre/post testing
  • Special handling requirements
  • Expedited test results
  • Custom test configurations

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • More than 7 days: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
  • 3-7 days: 75% refund
  • 48-72 hours: 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours: No refund

5.2 Facility Cancellations

Particle Path Assurance reserves the right to cancel or reschedule testing due to:

  • Equipment maintenance or failure
  • Safety concerns
  • Force majeure events
  • Regulatory compliance issues

In such cases, customers will receive full refunds or priority rescheduling at no additional cost.

5.3 Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling fees may apply based on availability and timing.

6. Safety and Compliance

6.1 Safety Requirements

All customers must comply with facility safety protocols:

  • Complete safety orientation before facility access
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Follow all radiation safety procedures
  • Maintain proper test documentation

6.2 Regulatory Compliance

All testing activities must comply with applicable regulations including:

  • Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements
  • Department of Energy (DOE) safety standards
  • International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) guidelines
  • Industry-specific radiation safety protocols

6.3 Liability

Customers are responsible for ensuring their test items comply with all safety requirements. Particle Path Assurance is not liable for damage to test items that fail to meet safety standards.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Customer Data

All test data, specifications, and proprietary information provided by customers remains their exclusive property. Particle Path Assurance will maintain strict confidentiality.

7.2 Test Results

Test results and data are provided to customers for their exclusive use. Customers may not redistribute or publish test results without written permission from Particle Path Assurance.

7.3 Facility Technology

All facility equipment, processes, and methodologies remain the intellectual property of Particle Path Assurance.

8. Confidentiality

Particle Path Assurance maintains strict confidentiality regarding:

  • Customer test specifications and requirements
  • Test results and data
  • Customer proprietary information
  • Business relationships and agreements

All personnel are bound by confidentiality agreements and will not disclose customer information to third parties without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Particle Path Assurance's liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific testing services. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Delays in testing schedules
  • Equipment failures beyond our control

10. Force Majeure

Particle Path Assurance is not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Labor disputes
  • Utility failures
  • Pandemic or public health emergencies

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. Changes to Terms

Particle Path Assurance reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all future bookings. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
